The medal was silvered to enhance its appearance — a common historical practice intended to improve visual qualities by applying a silver or gold coating. It was also subtly darkened (patinated) to accentuate the finer details of the design. 

Obv.: Busts of Emperor Nicholas II, Empress Maria Feodorovna, and Emperor Alexander III facing left, one behind the other, within a circular inscription.

This commemorative medal marks the construction of the Trinity Bridge across the Neva River in St. Petersburg. Completed in 1903, it was dedicated to the 25th wedding anniversary of Emperor Alexander III and Empress Maria Feodorovna. The project symbolized Franco-Russian cooperation and was one of the city's most significant engineering achievements of the era.
