A hydrostatic weighing was performed to determine the metal's specific gravity; the result — 10.49 g/cm³ — is consistent with silver of approximately 995 fineness. 

Very rare. 


Obv.: Stylized map of Latvia with the city Riga marked in the center. Over the map, a bird in flight (possibly a swallow) symbolizing return or freedom. 


Inscription above: 

KAPCEĻO DZIMTO ZEMI! 

(Return to the homeland!). 


Inscription below: 

IE. MIN. TŪRISMA BIROJS 

(Ministry of the Interior – Tourism Bureau). 


Rev.: At top – the national coat of arms of Latvia beneath three stars. Below, centered inscription. Laurel and oak branches with ribbon encircle the field.
