Rabbe Axel Wrede (1851-1938) was a Finnish jurist, legal scholar, and statesman. He served as a senator of Finland and was one of the leading figures in the development of Finnish constitutional and civil law during the late period of the Grand Duchy of Finland and the early years of independence. Wrede played a significant role in shaping Finland’s legal institutions and academic legal education, and was highly respected within the Finnish juridical community.
