1. Kingdom of Bavaria, City of Munich artist society medal 1864 - Constitution Celebration. 

2.65g. 20mm. UNC/UNC. Pierced, as made. Obv.: Harp with garland; inscription "B.S.Z. MÜNCHEN" /Rev.: Inscription "VERFASSUNGS-/FEIER / 1864": The Munich Citizens' Singers' Guild at the Constitution Celebration. Hauser 912. This association (der Bürger Sänger Zunft München) was founded in 1840. Munich was not only the capital of the Kingdom of Bavaria, but also a European cultural center. The citizens' association was one of the main vehicles of Munich's cultural history. 


2. Kingdom of Bavaria, City of Munich artist society medal 1865 - Mayfest of the artists. 

1.15g. 17mm. UNC/UNC. Pierced, as made. Obv.: Inscription "MAYFEST / DER / KÜNSTLER / 1865" / Rev.: Inscription "CLAUDE / LORRAIN", laurel branches below. Hauser 914. Mayfest is the traditional German celebration of the arrival of spring. The medal is dedicated to the Mayfest of the artists in Harlaching and unveiling of the monument to the French painter Claude Lorrain. 


3. Kingdom of Bavaria, City of Munich artist society medal 1879 - Forest Festival of the Academy

3.31g. 20mm. UNC/UNC. Pierced, as made. Obv.: Arms of Munich - a young monk with a book in his hand. / Rev.: Coat of arms, around inscription "WALDFEST DER ACADEMIE 1879". Hauser 935. The 1879 Forest Festival of the Academy took place in the castle Schwaneck-Grosshesselohe. 


4. Germany (München) Bronze Medal (Jeton) 1840 - Artist society.
