Fedorin VI 3, 51-RDZ; KM 7. Rare.
Issued by the Tannu-Tuva Peoples Republic, an autonomous region located between Russia and Mongolia. Originally part of Outer Mongolia, Tuva declared independence in 1921 under the Tuvan Peoples Revolutionary Party and was later recognized by both Mongolia and the USSR. In 1944, it became an autonomous region of the Soviet Union. The local monetary system was based on the Aksha, with 100 kopeks equaling 1 Aksha. Tannu-Tuva coinage reflects a brief but unique period in Central Asian history.
