Visigoths (Gaul) AV Tremissis ND (c. 440-507) - Pseudo-Imperial coinage

1.40g. 15mm. UNC/UNC. Tiny scratch. A delightful specimen, radiating bright mint luster and strong eye appeal.

Uncertain king, imitating issue of the Roman emperor Valentinian III (425-455 AD).

Obv.: Diademed, draped bust to right; “D N PL VΛLENTINΛNVS”.

Rev.: Cross pattée within wreath with large central jewel and ornate ribbons; COMOB below.
