Rev.: Eagle flying through a storm under the sun, descending upon the regalia and crown of Austria.

Upon the death of Emperor Matthias II, his nephew Ferdinand II succeeded him, but the Estates of Austria paid homage to Archduke Albert, the emperor’s brother. Albert declined the imperial crown and ceded his hereditary lands to Ferdinand II.
