Koryus Eduard Tanisovich - 23rd Artillery Brigade, Bombardier. During the battles on September 5, 6, and 7, 1916, near the village of Svistelniki, while stationed at an advanced observation post under intense rifle and machine-gun fire and a heavy bombardment from enemy artillery, which repeatedly disrupted telephone communications between the battery and the observation post, he continually repaired and maintained the connection despite the relentless shelling. His actions contributed to the successful fulfillment of the battery's mission. He was severely concussed and buried by earth from an explosion. Awarded under Articles 145, Points 3 and 5 of the Statute of the Order of St. George. Also awarded the St. George's Cross 4th Class №409162 (Lot 2175 of the current auction) and the St. George Medal ""For Bravery"" 4th Class, No. 204820 (Lot 2182 of the current auction).

В боях 5, 6 и 7 сентября 1916 года у д. Свистельники, находясь на передовом наблюдательным пункте под ожесточенным ружейным и пулеметным огнем и ураганным огнем неприятельской тяжелой артиллерии, нарушавших неоднократно телефонную связь батареи с пунктом, все время восстанавливал ее и поддерживал, невзирая на ожесточенный обстрел, чем содействовал выполнению возложенной на батарею задачи, причем, был сильно контужен и засыпан землей от взрыва Ст. 145 п. 3 и 5 Георгиевского Статута. Так же награжден Георгиевским Крестом 4-й степени №409162 (Лот 2175 текущего аукциона) и Георгиевской медалью ""За Храбрость"" 4-й степени №204820 (Лот 2182 текущего аукциона).
